I recently decided to change my system and I was lucky enough to run across Clear Day speaker cables. My system is now: Ayre AX-7E, Ayre QB-9 Dac, Mac Mini dedicated music server, Amarra software, and Vandersteen 2CE Signatures.
I love the Ayre & Vandersteen synergy and I wanted a speaker cable to bring out the very best of both.
I auditioned many speaker cables in the $2,000-$3,000 range from very familiar names in the cable world and a few not too well known but heavily marketed.
During this process I was lucky enough to contact Paul, we discussed my system in-depth and he was kind enough to send me a pair of his cables to audition for as long as I wanted!
When I hooked them up I was really not expecting a great difference from what I have been hearing in many other cables.
All I can say is that after 10 days in my system I was floored, the $2,000-$3,000 cables were not even close after many shoot-outs, it really was an amazing difference.
In my system these cables are miles ahead of the others in balance, clarity, immediacy, and dynamics.
I should also mention that Paul is one of the most professional, knowledgable, and understanding people I have run across in the audio world, you could not ask for a better person to deal with.
If you are looking for speaker cables you owe it to yourself to try these cables you will not be disappointed I can assure you.
Don't buy into the hype and marketing so prevalent in the cable world today, these cables are the real deal!
