I have owned these cables for approx. 2 months and somewhere around 100 listening hours. First off they were absolutely superb right out of the box. Extremely open, deep and detailed. My system had seemed a little veiled in the past. Notice I said 'had' seemed veiled in the past. With the introduction of the Silver Spirits it was like removing a sheet from in front of the speakers. Everything opened up and cleared up. Voices seem almost perfect. The bass tightened up and also went deeper. I can hear things on recordings that I have never heard before, such as certain cymbals and moroccas on Patricia Barber's Verse. Allison Krause appears before you.
Keep in mind that these cables are not replacing junk. The two other cables I owned and replaced with the Silver Spirits were AZ Silver Reference Mk II and Harmonic Tech Pro Silway II's. The Silver Spirits trounced both in every way, especially removing the veil that had been there.
It is as though the Silver Spirits are passing more information than the other two cables. They also cost half the price of the Silway's and one-fourth the price of the AZ's. As I write this the cables are continuing to improve as they burn in.
