for the Bogdan ICS, Silver Eichmann Bullets
A couple of months ago I stumbled across Bogdan's ICS ad on Audiogon. The only reason I looked at it was the fact that they use Eichmann bullet plugs as terminations, and the cables I've been purchasing for the last 3 years do also. About a week prior to this I purchased 3 2ft. pairs of the cables I've been buying for $1,100 or $367 a pair which is a 32% discount from the normal selling price of $545 and that's with gold bullets not the silver. The only difference between these and the Bogdan's is they have a black polyester jacket around the tubes and use a much smaller guage silver wire (the thickness of a human hair), which makes them very delicate. I was curious how this guy could be selling a similar cable with silver bullets for $159 (he raised the price to $169 since then)so I purchased a pair just to campare them to mine. Upon receipt I hooked the Bogdan ICS up between my main amp and preamp and without any break-in period I noticed improvement in the presentation and focus of the low end. I was so impressed that I then purchased a set of his ICSM (multi-channel)For $390. This is basically what I just paid $1,100 for with gold bullets from my other supplier. I was so impressed with these cables that my whole system is now wired with them. These cables are "Giant Killers" and are worth 4 times their cost based on my prior experience. Don't hesitate to give these a try, you will be pleasantly suprised.
Product Weakness: It's hard to get over the psycological effect of puting $169 cables in a $40K system, but you'll get over it. Product Strengths: Everything is right about these cables. Open sounding, not bright. Super highs, sweet mids, and slam in the bass while staying well defined.
