for the CDP 2000 ULTRA

Well, I am on my 2nd Parasound CDP-2000 Ultra,,,I sold my first one when I got rid of my entire setup. To be honest, there was basically no other player that I wanted.
Every instrument or layer of music just seems to have more weight and authority in mys systems thru this unit.
I also happened to own a lot of remastered HDCD's from YES, Mike Oldfield, King Crimson and others,,,so might as well get them decoded thru HDCD.
The belt driven mechanism is silky smooth and quiet, and I like the fact that I have to work a little harder to play a CD (opening the drawer, placing the CD, and the putting the hockey puck on top, then slide the door shut),,its almost like starting an LP.
I bought mine used for 600 dollars,,,what a bloody steal!!

Product Weakness: some people's remotes have gremlins,,my first one did also.
Product Strengths: Build quality, great DAC section, smooth sound...
