The NAD c542 is probably the 6th or 7th CD player I've owned. Maybe more. It's certainly the best sounding. Very smooth and excellent deep bass. That was probably the most noticeable thing, along with the smoothness of the high end response. Not a bit of harshness. I don't think you can do better for the money.


Product Weakness: I can't really think of anything I would change.
Product Strengths: Great bass response, smooth sound.
