for the Trivista SACD

I really like this player. I have had it over 2 years now (since new) and have had no issues. Reads any disc. No SACD read problems. Plays DVD-V's and can access the different audio tracks(DD,Pro Logic etc). Cool lit feet that start red, then go to yellow and end up blue when totally warmed up,usually 30-35 minutes. It sounds great now that I put a Richard Gray power cord on it. Was very good before. Shunyatas and several other brands did great things but left the HF brash. Only the Gray made the HF sweet. The 5703 submini tubes are supposed to last a long time: 100K hours. This is my first piece of gear that lists for over 6K and I feel It's worth it although I got it for far less as an accomodation. I'd like to superclock it and do a couple of other upgrades and may do so in time.

Product Weakness: Slow seek within tracks on redbook,really slow on SACD.
A great player but a few better parts from being a superstar.
Cheesy remote,would like a more robust one.
Product Strengths: Well built, lots of power supplies and storage caps, reliable transport (in my case),audio output can drive anything (2.5V@50 ohms)Dynamic, great image and very good overall sound, plays DVD-V's!
