Bought a sonic frontier power1 55 wpc tube amp first after breakin it sounded ok Plus it cost 1500 bucks
Then one day on Ebay I saw a pair of sutherland modified Dynaco ST-70 for sale 700 for the pair I took the plunge .
Talk about dropping a jaw from the first minute of playinfg I knew this was my new front line amp it put the sonic frontier to shame [Big Time] and at half the cost
But all was not lost I wound up Biamping a set of newform research 645's with the dynaco's on the tweets were they belong and still got to use the strength of the sonic frontier on the bottom midbass units and the beauty of the Dynaco's is there is a plethura of upgrades to try it just doesn't end I say Bobby M
