Review is for upgade results after changing/rewiring the ground path and rewiring with silver leads and adding improved smoothing caps (since the originals weren't all the same and old enough to need changing).
After being smug enough to think I was in possession of the best mouse trap in town and doing a annual cleaning, discoved a few interesting things about these amps. For one thing the LS9100 has (in my case) not all of the same parts. After a time I decided to make corrections with the intention of getting things up to speed and at least upgading to some of the newer versions of what technology is now offering. Smoothing caps are now all the same (not the most expensive stuff on the planet but close). No changes were made in the basic design/topography.
Things are more quiet and refined after several hundred hours of listening. Authority has improved with sonics being clearer and tighter.
