..."Music producers and audiofiles will eat this up"...-Thomas Appell

I've heard some really bad humors from music producers ( who are as sceptical as hell at first ) telling a story about recording engineers are going to kill themselves; from people who act like they are the guiding light and legal documents are a "scam" to them; from the patent examiners ( who are having a good laugh at first ) relating Raintinge to a science about making bald men grow new hair, about magnetizing food to make it taste better and alot of unproven science - demanding to know the "how and why" Raintinge should work - requiring Raintinge to prove the science to alot of audio professionals and have all evidence of any kind in a legal documents.

Because it is not worth my while to list and understand all the legal documents that are shared by music producers, the patent examiners, and whomever else, - here are just a few...

..."I happily signed an affidavit saying that the color enhancement system was everything it claimed to be"...----- (and so did other people)--Thomas Appell, record producer/vocal coach/"wrote 2 articles for Mix Magazine"/wrote article on the Raintinge Resolution Enhancement for CD and DVD playback

..."the highs are ear-piercing and crumbly; with the color system, I can hear all the different type of cymbals one by one"..."it is amazing with all the CDs"..."I know my recording. What really blew me away is the affect on my CDR transfer from the master."...-------( I agree with Jeryl. On my CDR and DVD-RW, it is mind-blowing that the female nasal balance is completely correct because I had never imagine "optical" disks can do this...Raintinge did try to isolate the difference between "optical" disk and and "magnetically" stored and playbacked hard disk and tape).

-Jeryl Tompson, Motown music producer/artist/writer/artist development/shopper to all music labels/"6 gold or platinum"

..."I defiantly hear a difference...--- (*defiantly*? you mean to tell me alot of professionals like you can't defy Raintinge? How are the never say die sceptics going to feel? What can they do now to defy Raintinge?--

1. The disk plays hotter by at least 1.5 db

2. The bass is clearer( less audible distortion)

3. Everything from 300 hz. up is slightly clearer

In my opinion, it seems that the disk is read more clearly - the players read what it is supposed to. I am impressed to find a difference with the theory.

Compact disk offers more pleasure to the ears with the color system.

As we moved along to disk seven, we checked out some Beethoven, I was biginning to accept the fact that this idea works. The read is much better. The stereo emaging is clearly better. I have printed a screen shot of an audio waves we imported to Pro Tools in 96k 24bit through a pair of clean pre-amps (True System's Precision 8). The upper audio file is without the color system. As you can see, the IS a difference in the imaging, check out the phase read. Please notice the summed DBis -1.4db on the straight CD track and the summed with the color system is -1.3db.

I did note that the difference is substantial on some disks, and hardly noticable on others."------------

-Nick Fainbarg, Engineer/producer

..."in at least 80% of the discs, there was an extreme level of difference, there was a bigger presence to the CD's mix and a much truer sound quality. In the other 20% there was a slightly less dramatic change, but there was a change nonetheless."...-------

-Jason Young, sound engineer/professional musician

Me, I grew up being fascinated with young white female nasal balance and trying to prove the voice doctor wrong that human nasal resonance have little to do with sound (nasal resonance did have an extreme impact on female voice and some other human voice). "Optical" disks just make white female nasal resonance unlistenable to me. There is hardly any major flaw with the other non-"optical" medium, for example, cassette, vhs, record, live microphone, hard disk, and digital tape. For me, I'm just happy that the color system eliminates the torture of white female voice - being too thin, too dense, too strange, and too creepiness of the nasal resonance. Female voices are usually clearer, sharper, higher in frequencies (not to mean they talk alot), and a much more pronounced and supposedly smooth nasal resonance. Here are some of my favorites that Raintinge have a huge impact on and make them listenable to me (made my long day special)...

1. Hayley Westenra, "Pure"... - this is a very beautiful voice. The voice and hipnotic nasal resonance just instantly brightens my day...even at some hateful hours like 4 in the morning. You haven't lived until you experience this voice when it is accurate.

2. a collection of Sarah Brightman... - quite the same as Ms. Westenra and much more trained to sing more different notes and musical style.

3. Norah Jones, SACD... -with all the hype about extremely high resolution for a more accurate sound - it's just the same problem as all the CDs and other "optical" disks and just the same improvements when using the color system.

4. Diane Krall, SACD... -unusually sexy voice...it must be her amazing control of her nasal resonance...would she have a sexy voice if she snorts through her nasal like a pig? I told you before nasal resonance dominates female voice.

5. a collection of Jennifer Warnes... - she has the most delicate feminine nasal resonance. If she sounds like a man talking, you have a bad stereo. My favorite to torture test stereo for understanding accuracy.

5. the Innocence Mission, "befriended"... -(I bought 2 LPs!) if you 're into shy childhood story and geeky poetry like Morrissey and Simon & Garfunkle, this is the best with a beautiful voice that is as complex to play as Jennifer Warnes.

6 a collection of the Corrs, DVD... -It's almost like super models have a talent to sing. It is heart-warming when the color system made each sister look so pretty and similar in their sisterly kind of way (tough choice if I have to chose one of them).

7. Soda Club, "anthem alert", CD and DVD... - don't look at this DVD if you don't normally look at super models. Their voices are beautiful in their own way. It's what I usually hear everyday talking to girls.

8. Bond, DVD... - visually and sonically when using the color system, it is so good it hurts.

Of course what type of music you listen to is just a matter of personal taste, not science. Accurate sound and the recording of music involve science in however science is used to get that particular sound. People (mainly normal people) take advantage of whatever science came up with a way to make things better or sound better. Since this is the most extreme focus group that mainly deals with "better sound" or something related to it, we have finally got a science that truely made "better sound" that was proven over and over again by music producers. Nick had said," Compact disk offers more pleasure to the ears with the color system. In my less important comments that other experts- My heart reacts and drifts away everytime I use the color system just like experiencing live music...whether this is science or not. I would call the color system a new name like "Raintinge Enhanced Playback" of CD and DVD since all it does is enhance the playback.

K. Serrano

May accuate sounds ( that are arranged artistically to get the hipnotic feeling of so-good-it-hurts) make your heart drifts wildly since it seems to scientifically happens at live performance.

Product Weakness: If only magnetizing food to make it taste better were true. I would magnetize this person's brain to make him think better or make him prove it with meaningful science.
Product Strengths: Too much work to list again. If you think holding your CD, DVD, or SACD for 15 seconds over the color system is "too much work",(one of Raintinge customer's complaint...most of the music producers did recommend Raintinge to work with Sony to develop a color system that works electronically inside the CD and DVD player or license the invention to the big corporations), you just have to wait. By then, there would be thousands of "optical" disk masters that didn't benefit by using the "Raintinge Enhanced Playback."
