Philips GA-212 Turntable LED bulb replacement

I have 3 Philips GA-212 turntables (4 counting my parts unit). The oldest I bought new in April 1974 and they get frequent use. The bulbs for the switches burned out years ago and I've had trouble locating suitable replacements.

The turntables all worked fine without a bulb, but I like the neat green backlights for the touch switches.

I recently found some 6V E10 base LEDs from Allied Electronics for $1.12 each. I had to swap the wires to some of the sockets to get the proper DC polarity, but they are working great now. The cost was only $1.12 each compared to $7-$10 from some other sites.

I used part number SSP-D29E10SUGC-6V which is a green 6v LED with E10 base.

Hope this is of use to someone.....
