Speakers for this room? (photo)




I want to upgrade my speakers which are Paradigm Monitor 20’s and a Paradigm center from the same series.

The attached photo shows the present arrangement. The fireplace and window walls are about 22 feet long. The narrow part of the room opposite the bookcase is about 12 feet wide. There is a SVS sub on the right side under the switch plate.

The use is 50% video and 50% music all acoustic classic.

I originally wanted planers but I am told that in my room they will not work

Without spending a fortune I would like to make a meaningful upgrade. Any suggestions are welcome.
