Hi Frank- I have listened to the Soro SE and my impression is that it does have more power in the bass region, perhaps as a consequence of being more powerful generally with it's 18 or so watts delivery . But the question is more complicated that just watts I expect, because Audio Note makes 9 watts power amps and monoblocks that have LOTS of power and have an incredibly deep and fast bass. The best thing would be to try with your speakers. As for how the Kit amps-Kit 1 /Preamp sound as compared to the OTO and SORO I don't have the experience to comment. It's an interesting question though.
