I believe I appreciate why this prototype is called the "30.7 for condos". However this name is a misnomer and is a bit silly for those who understand the meaning.

While some may consider any condo to be a smaller, apartment like unit, that is incorrect. A condominium is a form of ownership, not an architectural style or size. Condos come in all sizes, from studio units to full sized, stand alone homes.

I do applaud Magnepan's attempt to create a high performance speaker which may appeal to those who cannot accommodate the full 30.7 configuration, or who may not want to see anything as large as those four panels in their home. But there must be a better name to convey their intent. I don't know what that might be, something like 30.7 R (restricted) or 30.7 Jr (junior) might suggest it is more of a compromise from the full 30.7 than they'd like to imply.

If this prototype does make it into production I hope they will find a better, more correctly descriptive name.
