I was at the store when Steve got his demo along with Herb Reichert. 20 of us had to wait patiently in another room while they had their turn, but there were nice refreshments. John Rutan is a nice guy.

It turned out to be to our advantage because a handful of us ended up going in later than some who arrived after us, and were able to have a relaxing demo and conversation with Wendell. At one point he played the Minnesota Orchestra Firebird recording ... and at 9:20 we all jumped out of our seats.

It was a small-ish room with a lot of Vicoustic multifusers, and Wendell had a thin curtain drawn across in front of the speakers ... though he did let us peak eventually.
