That is 100% true, but I think the burr in everyones saddle is that if Magnepan wished to use a glue that was permanent or nearly so, they could do it but they won't. It may just be blind loyalty to 3M on Wineys part, who can say, but it's not going to change.
If they did adhered the wires initially with DAP however, I don't think they would ever come off, and there would be no need for any "topcoat" thus leaving the driver even lighter. There would never be delam, gummyness, oxidation....
But watcha gonna do? :^ )
