RE: clothes dryer issue! Turns itself OFF a lot. Thermal sensor?

When you say turns it shuts itself off, what exactly do you
mean?? Does it simply stop heating or does it stop
tumbling as well?? If it stops heating, it could be the
the thermostat(thermal sensor). If they put too low a temperature
unit in it will turn off the heater elements prematurely.
SCM covered some of the other important things to check. I would be
very suspicious of the thermostat if the unit is simply not
drying your clothes. Now if the unit shuts down completely,
then you may have other issues. Like a dead spot in your timer/selector
motor. Open it up and have a look. Since someone has been in
the unit before, anything is possible. As SCM said it could simply
be something was not put back together correctly. Post again with
more info or email me and I will do what I can to help you debug
the problem.
