It was ~10 years ago, and I don't really remember. I experimented constantly with those things. Seem to recall thinking it would have been nice to have two.
The JBL was set up in an Ultraflex as part of a mono rig for a long time, so I can compare that to the K15s in general. The Ultraflex was perhaps warmer and more colored sounding compared to the K's, which are cleaner and more dynamic, at the expense of some LF extension.
