In the way old days (70's), i went to an overnight youth event at a Unitarian church in Half Day ill. I had a reel to reel tape recorder and edited a "new" version that had three drum solo's, one extra long and it lasted the entire 40 min of tape on one side.
We plugged that into the house system to play through out the building and after a couple hours of "normal music" i put the reel on and began 40 odd min of extended Iron Butterfly.
Only one person noticed it was twice as long as the album side
