"Must be gin, of course (vodka you take cold straight up; never figured the point in a vodka martini)."Because gin sucks... never figured the point of gin, dry or not.
I take no alchool straight: I was floored (not even drunk) when I heard stories about some far east guys who drink their Cognac that way. Boooooo! May I ask them to ship their bottles (full, of course) to me? I'll take GREAT care of them :-)) and in return, I'll teach them how to appreciate this fine potion made with love, or drinked before doing it...
Cognac Planat someone? Can't go wrong, newbie or not, with a Très Vieille Fine Champagne Réserve Ancestrale
Actually, experiencing Cognac is a too much intense thing to fully appreciate Music. Latelly, I founded that two once of Godet (fine liquor of Belgian White Chocolate with clear Irish spirits and a touch of Cognac) with a ice cube more appropriated for critical listening. And don't mess with the glass, choose the right one!
I still get back to Gentlemen Jack from time to time, to remember the goood 'ol time.
