... you make about the "pop" with muting on the SA100 III puzzles me. I have two of these beasties and do not experience it. Also re the hum, I find the excelled "Ground Lift" switch on all the Plinius components removes any residual noise.However I agree re the comments about HOT, HOT , HOT in Class A. The 250 has the auto switching but the SA100 has caught me out a couple of times.
These are really top products and are built like tanks. Thoroughly reliable in this house over the last 2+ years and producing glorious music. Famous last words but I cannot see myself ever replacing them.
