I would have to say the level matching was done to plus or minus 0.5 db, depending on the accuracy of the Radio shack spl meter. However the Lexicon MC-12 which was used as the preamp only allows 1 db volume level control adjustment. The Lexicon was used in two channel analog by-pass mode. Using a Sony XA777es as the SACD/CD player with it's analog two-channel output for either SACD output or regular CD playing. One pair of Bolder Cables type 1 interconnects were used and Monster cable 14 guage speaker wire. All of the components had a minimum of 150 to 200 hours with some components many more.
