Dear Ric,
P.S. audio didn't know that their DAC Link III that doesn't have a polarity switch was inverting until I told them. They told me they'd tell their customers, but they didn't. An online reviewer tested it and they admitted that it was inverting. But they said their new PerfectWave DAC has a polarity switch. The only reason it has a polarity switch is because I badgered (I was born in Madison Wisconsin which is the badger state.) them into it and when I heard the prototype at 2009 CES I told them that its polarity switch was reversed. They called me after the show to thank me for alerting them to their mistake. But of course they didn't tell that to the online reviewer.
Please read the information at www.absolutepolarity.com about the polarity of various CD players and CDs. Many in the audio industry who've been following my polarity rants agree with me. And for sure all you have to do is use The Polarity List at the bottom of the www.AbsolutePolarity.com page to hear that the Oppo BCD-95 is one of the approximately 8% of CD players that plays all tracks in absolute polarity on approximately 92% of CDs.
Best regards,
George
