I had an interesting chat with Pierre Sprey about these cables. He essentially agrees with my findings about the Ultrathin. They've got speed and neutrality, but are limited from the lower mid-range down. He said that the Excaliburs are warmer, more full-bodied, more detailed, as well as more extended down in the bass.I am going to give the Excaliburs a try and will report back to the group.
