Very nice review. I use the Maple Audio Ambiance Interconnects between an Antique Sound Labs MG Si 15DT (5wpc SET) and an Ah! Njoe Tjoeb tube output CD Player. I also use the Mapleshade Clearview Double Golden Helix Plus speaker wires. I think this is a great combination because I get the incredibly liquid quality of the Maple ICs and the detail, tight and powerful bass and crystal highs from the Double Golden Helixes. My experience of the Maple Audio Ambiance ICs includes one downside - they plug in so tightly, when I tried to remove the IC from the ASL it pulled the ASL's guts out. The Maples put an Ox Lock on my amp!
I am picking up a pair of the Mapleshade Ultrathin Ribbon Interconnects to hook up a vintage Kenwood KT8005 tuner to the ASL, but I think I'll give them a try in place of the Maple Audio Ambiance ICs. I'll report back.
