Placette underappreciated? Undoubtedly. We have a new Spectron Digital II amp which was used with a Morrison ELAD preamp (over 50 rave reviews on audioreview.com-check it out). When we switched to the Placette, it was the proverbial jaw dropping jolt. Everything was so much more clear and real. Not just a little better, it was night and day. I can HIGHLY recommend the Placette (and Spectron too!).kuribo
