I own both the jolida jd 102b and rotel ra 985bx. Both are good units with similar build quality. The jolida will give a warm, liquid, non-fatiguing presentation in comparison to the rotel. The rotel has a more analytical approach with a brighter high end. The bass response is not that noticiably different, however the rotel will provide tighter bass. As a side note the speakers used were dm 603 s2's in a small/medium listening room.It's your call on what jolida model to purchase. Some say the 102 is the best bang for the buck. Some like the 801. Many people own the 302.
Other than the 102, I've only heard the 302 and it was not in the greatest of setups so I will not make any comments concerning that model.
I would ask the deja vu for a loner and try it out for the weekend.
