Listened to this extensively while recently demoing amps. I agree that this amp is easy to listen to. It's kind of compelling. I did, however find a few significant differences than the reviewer.Soundstage: my is experience was that the soundstage was wide, but woefully shallow. Even after 200 hours this remained much in evidence.
Detail: while harmonically rich, I found the amp to ulimately lack high resolution detail. My CD player is only 20-bit and it still exceeeded the capability of the amp.
That said, I like this amp a lot. I don't think much under $2k comes close for all of the reasons expressed in this thread.
