Wanna see some non-fill?

Since I'm sure there are some reading the forum who aren't familiar with the "non-fill" pressing defect, I thought I'd give an example. Non-fill is when the vinyl does not fully flow up into the stamper, giving a truncated groove wall and deformed lands.

Here's the new Friday Music issue of Queensrÿche's Empire. Under light, the unfilled areas appear to sparkle. When played, the record may exhibit strange distortions, crackles and buzzes.

This one's going back for a replacement.
