I recommend also using Conrad Hoffman's "TemplateGen" arc protractor. It's what I use to align cartridges with my mmf-7.

Download the template generator (see link to "TemplateGen.zip"), unzip it, run the template generator using the numbers provided below, and print it out on high quality paper. Arc protractors are really easy to use. Just follow the instructions in the "README" file that comes with the template and you can't go wrong.

Use these numbers in TemplateGen for your Project 9 (aluminum) tonearm:

Spindle to Pivot Distance = 212mm (overhang = 18mm; effective length = 230mm)

Click on the "IEC" button and use the null points of 60.325mm and 146.05mm.

Choose the "Lofgren A" alignment and print the protractor. (It'll first show you the parameters that will be printed.)
