After nothing but manual turntables (LP12, WTRP) since 1984, last summer I picked up the Denon model for a bedroom system (auto shut-off was a desired feature for this setting) and have been very pleasantly surprised at how engaging it can sound. There are times when I regret not having purchased the Thorens model and its 78 rpm capability, but I decided to go with the one I could purchase locally. I may yet end up buying the Thorens just out of curiousity and a desire to support anyone still making a fully automatic turntable. I had forgetten how nice it is to be able to push a button and have time to return to my listening position and get settled before the music starts playing.

I saw on your system page that you like to play guitar and Native American flute. I experienced that combination for the first time last summer, seeing Rona Yellowrobe in concert with her co-writer/producer Bruce Witham. A truly remarkable performance.
