but these were built by Sanyo and were not in the league of a 500c. They were not horrible and it would make a decent starter stereo. I gave my girlfriends daughter a Fisher intergrated amp with a pair of "Rat Shack" mini's and it sounded pretty good. A starter for her. Paired it with a CD player.It will be better than a new receiver. At least they used real transistors! They built a similar unit for Zenith and I gave one to my neighbor back in '88.
