Pioneer SX 750 v SX 780

I picked up a mint SX 780 today for $10. I have been using a 750 for about a year, and I was interested in comparing the two. The 780 sounds a little different from the 750, and almost exactly like my Toshiba receiver, which was made about the same time and also uses an IC output. After a morning of listening, I definitely prefer the 750--warmer, richer, and less lean sounding in the treble. But the 780 has its virtues--very clean and detailed. But I wonder what others who have compared them think.
