marantz sr1000 thumbs up/thumbs down?

My brother-in-law knows that I love audio and fool around with vintage gear. Tonight he brought over a Marantz SR1000 a friend of his gave him. It needs a cleaning but everything seems in working order and its in the original wood cabinet. Cant find a whole lot of info on these, any thoughts?
