I had recently bought a short length of bulk D102 to try my luck with DIY interconnects.
Turns out this particular cable is a b***h to work on!
I don't know if it's the type of alloy they use but it really doesn't stick to Cardas four-eutectic solder. I was really surprised as this solder is usually a breeze to work with.
With some efforts I managed to solder what looks to be solid connections but it was far from easy.
Anybody experienced the same issue with D102 cable and if yes, what's the trick, or which solder should one use?
