Thanks again to those who confirmed the authenticity of my new-to-me C-046. I'm going to re-terminate my VH Audio Flavor 1 power cord with this connector (as that cord presently has WattGate brass). What would be a good male AC connector to mate with the C-046? Whatever it is will plug into either a Furutech E-TP60 with its gold-plated phosphor-bronze receptacles (exact model unknown), or any one of the Oyaide SWO receptacles if/when I get around to re-configuring a power conditioner with them.I don't have any "tone control" objectives ... just the desire for a neutral and detailed power cord to continue using with my DAC. Maybe it can stand up to -046 connectors on both ends?
I think I've also read plenty of positive comments on the P-046 + C-079. Does this combination work in reverse -- i.e., with P and C ends "flipped"? I could go with a P-079 in that case.
It wouldn't bother me to mix manufacturers ... maybe a Furutech (Cu) or (G) would be a reasonable choice?
I understand that this might take some experimentation ... but, it will also take a starting point. So, any advice is greatly appreciated!
