RE: Not absolutely true ?

Those have Philips etched production codes on them.

I can't quite read the plant code but the one I have here was made in Blackburn so most people would say it's a Mullard.

Tubes made in any of the Philips plants can be labeled anything from Mullard to Amperex to Valvo, etc.

If they were sold by Telefunken, but not made by Telefunken are they counterfeit tubes?
