HiI just picked up an old stereo tube amp without tubes at a ham radio rally (GZ32, 2 x ECC83 & 4 X 6BW6). The chassis is in a bad way but the transformers look ok. The output tubes are marked as 6BW6 and the output transformers are for push pull operation without UL taps. I guess the output transformers must be rated about 15 watts or so with an 8K primary. I am looking to put them into service in an EL84 or similar amplifier. Can anyone point me in the direction of a suitable schematic for a push pull amp without UL screen connections. Can I use these output transformers in triode mode?
Thanks
Martin
