Other than the 12B4, how many tubes can you name that can drive the nasty 10 KOhm IHF "standard" load from the plate? ;>)
FWIW, I've uploaded my version of a 12B4 line stage. That drawing was made by "Buzz", who loves "boutique" parts, from a narrative I provided. More rationally priced parts, like film and foil bypassed MMP O/P coupling caps., will still yield highly satisfactory results.
