grid choke vs. grid resistor

I have been playing around with some sims and am scratching my head with the results. I created a file with a 100hz sine that had two cycles with 6dB more gain to simulate a transient A2 peak. This fed the grid of an 801A. Below is a picture of the actual signal.

I used a .2uf cap and a 2000hy 2Kr grid choke and looked at the grid of the 801A and got this. Does anybody else find these results interesting?

I then replaced the grid choke with a 200K resistor and the results are below.

Does anybody else find these results interesting?
