EAW makes a great subwoofer system in their 900 series. They're designed to work in arrays of 4 or more. It has two custom 12' with a 13' folded horn.Don't let the 12's fool you, the horn-loading results in incredible efficiency, and they're rated at 500W each. The sub can really loud (from www.eaw.com):
Calculated Maximum Output (dB SPL)
Sub Peak: 146.0 @ 28 Hz 154.0 @ 100 Hz
Sub Long Term: 140.0 @ 28 Hz 148.0 @ 100 HzIt's pretty heavy at 360lbs, but not when you consider that only a few of them can fill a whole arena.
