These two-way bookshelf speakers are from Denmark. They have a 1 inch fabric tweeter and 7 inch woofer. The Supers are the middle lineup speaker of the three bookshelves they sell. I have the 1999 model and paid $695 on closeout but I believe they retailed for 1,295(maybe $1,800). The 2000 Supers have a new bass driver and crossover.
They are incredible, the rosewood finish is beautiful(Danes are great furniture builders). The soundstage is deep and spacious with great detail. I know many of you have heard of these speaker but if you can find them, buy them. Soundstage did a review on their floorstanding model a few years ago. They need alot of break in(200 hrs) but what you get in return is amazing. Better resolution than my Reynaud Twins(maybe not low level) or ACI Emeralds. What I liked most about these speakers are their ability to play all types of music. I like to rock out AND enjoy classical. The Supers can do it all. They are here to stay!
