with Cardas unplated solid copper binding posts. Try cleaning the posts with copper tarnish remover instead of the typical audiophile contact cleaners like DeOxit. I've lately switched to using hardware store tarnish removers on bare copper binding posts and silver spades. The restoration of finish and improvement in SQ is dramatic.
