Purchased these of an ebayer for 75.00.Stole them!I didnt have high expectations for these speakers other than the chatter on this site and the reviews on audioreview.com. Got them home and hooked up and was astounded with their sound and imaging. All these years I thought my electronics was the source of too much brightness.I previously had DCM 12's and even though they were efficient and had good range, were way to bright for extended listening.Had tried older altecs and advent Large speaker with the same results.Even though these polks are probably considered mid-fi, I havent heard anything that comes close to these old classics. If anybody has any raw drivers for these for sale let me know.

Product Weakness: non as far as sound. For bass hungry audiophiles, recommend sub.

Heavily build (52 lbs each) and well damped internally.

Product Strengths: Good Bass, extremely clear midrange and high end.Price, around 200.00 used off ebay.
