I downloaded 20 free e-books to my iPad, including 'A General History of the Pirates' by Daniel Defoe, 'Ulysses' by James Joyce, complete writings of Charles Darwin, novels by Thomas Hardy, Joseph Conrad, Lawrence Sterne, and Sonnets of Shakespeare.

The collection now contains 53,000 classics, and it's growing.
