Would axiom 80s work in OB

High Efficiency Speaker Asylum

Need speakers that can rock with just one watt? You found da place.

Was wondering how a Gooodmans Axiom 80 would work in open baffle configuration with a 15"(altec 416???) below filling in the lower registers.
Anybody tried anything like this?
People seem to think they sound amazing but shelved down from midbass and below.
