Is SACD superior to vinyl? Is not a question. You have to specify in what way. If you mean as a playback format it is more true to the original recording, than in no doubt the answer is yes.
Many vinyl addicts love their vinyl sound, even if many of the original recordings are digital......
That they love the additional processing the vinyl playback system adds to the recording would make them, on these subjective terms, decide that vinyl is the superior playback format.
If however, like me, you really hate 'the vinyl additon on all sounds' you would disagree.
A nice hobby with akward ways to listen to music on expensive good looking mechanical machines. Not really about listening to music and using the best 'sound' in a reproduction system. But that is as subjective as are the claims about the superiority of vinyl sound lovers.
