I agree with you, 'perfection' is a lofty goal and things don't have to be perfect to be enjoyable. I've got a tape player, TT, tube tuner, CDp and SACDp and none are perfect. DVD~A is just another piece to the puzzle and if I can't get music I like on SACD, then DVD~A, Vinyl and CD will have to suffice.Chris
