RE: Stereophile's dirty little secret

"Did he not just say he has no control over such things . When you work for a large company , you do what your told , not vice versa . Some seem to think John owns stereophile and can do what ever he pleases . Wake up."

If you buy the argument that the editor of the magazine has "no authority" you are the one who needs to wake up. Sure, he may not have direct control over subscriptions & marketing, but if cared enough to make an issue of it I am very sure he could affect some change. He simply *chooses* not to.
