DVD Audio Seminar & Demo May 25th in Greensboro, NC

Greensboro, NC -- Saturday, May 25th

Sanibel Sound & Greensboro's News & Record will present a demonstration of DVD Audio Technology featuring high end audio equipment and with guest speaker Jeff Fritz, Managing Editor of SoundStage! Network

In conjunction with Jerry Wolford a journalist with Greensboro's News & Record newspaper, Sanibel Sound is conducting a demonstration and seminar on DVD Audio technology. An article will appear on the cover of the Life section of the News & Record on May 18th, written by Mr. Wolford, discussing DVD-A in depth and inviting readers to attend the demonstration the following Saturday.

Sanibel Sound will host the demonstration and Q&A session and there will be product representatives and dealers on hand for questions on the products shown. The high end multi channel audio system will consist of Piega P5 Ltd speakers for the fronts and rears, a Piega P1 Powered Subwoofer, P4C MkII Center, and it may include side speakers so we can use some dedicated 6 channel recordings. Amplification will be Chapter Audio, Aloia, and AVM with line treatment by Fisch, Audio Tekne, and Goldmund, and cables by Piega, Audio Tekne, and Goldmund. There will be plenty of interesting software and equipment to ensure a truly interesting Audiophile experience!

As an alternative system we plan a "cost-no-object" 2 channel system shown in the US for the first time! This system is pure tube heaven for all the bottleheads to enjoy!

As a show highlight our guest speakers will begin at 3:30 pm
and include the Managing Editor of SoundStage! Network, Jeff Fritz
& Journalist Jerry Wolford of the News & Record

This entire event is completely open to the public and there is no charge or registration necessary. We hope for great attendance. Please come early so you can audition both systems and have a good seat for the Q&A. The first demo session begins at 1:00 pm and will close at 5:00 pm, and the second session will begin at 6:00pm.

This event will take place at the Sheraton Four Seasons off of Interstate 40. For detailed directions please call (800)531-6886
