Can KT-120s be used in TU-879S?

Wanting to know if the new Tung-Sol KT-120 tube can be used in a TU-879S amplifier? This tube does have significantly more current draw for the filament/heater than the KT-88 or the KT-90. I'm not wanting to overstress my power transformer, so would this tube work well with this amp? Thanks.
